Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin took part in the city subbotnik
On Saturday, March 30, in the square near the Vitebsk Concert Hall, the leadership of the region, the city, and the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk, together with "Zelensstroy," planted about 200 shrubs and trees as part of a city-wide clean-up day.
- We are here to help make our city a little better and more beautiful. So that people who will relax in squares and parks feel comfortable and cozy. Clean-up days are a good and kind tradition," noted Alexander Subbotin. - Regional and republican clean-up days are still ahead of us, so landscaping work will continue.
The head of the region also noted that the region is actively preparing for the XI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, so repair work is being carried out at many city locations, which will transform Vitebsk.
