The Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee demanded to improve the quality of investment proposals

This requirement was put forward today to the heads of districts and enterprises by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Kosinets, at a meeting of the regional executive committee, according to a BELTA correspondent. "The architectural design solution, marketing research, and the amount of necessary investment should become an integral part of the investment proposal," said the chairman of the regional executive committee. Negotiations on several investment projects in the region were postponed precisely due to the lack of these materials. In particular, a Turkish investor, who intended to create a network of roadside services, did not receive information about passenger traffic and the required amount of investment for the project implementation. Another company, which was going to open a fast-food chain in Vitebsk, faced the same situation. Its representatives had to conduct marketing research themselves and only after that they started negotiations, Alexander Kosinets cited negative examples. The chairman of the regional executive committee demanded to improve the quality of investment projects proposed for implementation and reminded that an international investment forum will be held in Vitebsk on July 15. -0-
