Igor Moroz has been appointed Chairman of the Sennensky District Executive Committee
At the session of the District Council of Deputies, Igor Moroz was approved as the Chairman of the Senno District Executive Committee. The former head of the region, Vasily Cherednik, took over the agro-industrial association created on the basis of the Glubokoye Dairy and Canning Plant.
Igor Moroz was born in 1984 in Novopolotsk. After graduating from the Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine in 2007, he worked in agricultural organizations in the Gomel and Vitebsk regions, and as Deputy Head of the Department of Agriculture of the Chashniki District Executive Committee. In 2016, he headed OJSC "Ivansky-Agro" and in the same year graduated from the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus. Since November 2018, he has been the First Deputy Chairman – Head of the Department of Agriculture and Food of the Lepel District Executive Committee.
Introducing the new head to the region's active members, Vladimir Davydovsky, Head of the Main Department of Organizational and Personnel Work of the Regional Executive Committee, noted that Igor Moroz has proven himself in various positions as a principled, proactive leader with analytical thinking and modern management methods.
In his speech, Igor Moroz outlined the main directions of future activities – the formation of effective agricultural production, the creation of favorable conditions for small and medium-sized businesses, which should become the main driver of the region's economic development and a source of new jobs. The priorities include further growth in labor productivity and average monthly wages, rational use of material and technical resources, ensuring stable operation of the social sphere, employment of the population, and retention of young specialists.
Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Nikolai Sherstnev emphasized that much has been done in the Sennensky district in recent years, but the district is not shining in terms of agricultural performance. In the near future, it needs to be brought up to the level of the leading regions of the Vitebsk region. To achieve this, it is necessary to build technological chains in crop production and animal husbandry, and focus on personnel – with special attention to young specialists. The head of the region stressed that subsidies in the budget of the Sennensky district amount to 58%. To reduce this figure, other areas of activity must also be developed. A clear action program must be created for everyone. Every manager must take responsibility if they want to change the situation.
Addressing the district's active members, the President's Aide for the Vitebsk Region, Anatoly Linevich, noted that it is necessary to find opportunities to obtain maximum results from each production. He wished Igor Moroz to form a team capable of improving people's well-being.
