Representatives of the Vitebsk region were awarded state honors

The corresponding decision is contained in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 187 of June 2, 2016. According to the document, representatives of various fields of activity have been awarded state decorations for many years of fruitful work, exemplary performance of official duties, active state and public activities, and achievement of high production indicators.

As reported by the Department of Organizational and Personnel Work of the Regional Executive Committee, in addition to the Chairman of the Verkhnedvinsk District Executive Committee, Igor Markovich, who was awarded the Order of Honor, the head of state noted the work of four more representatives of the Vitebsk region. Thus, the medal "For Distinction in Military Service" was awarded to the head of intelligence, commander of the reconnaissance platoon of the 317th Separate Guards Mobile Battalion of the 103rd Separate Guards Mobile Brigade, Lieutenant Igor Kravtsov; the medal "For Distinction in Maintaining Public Order" was awarded to the head of the seventh department (for the Vitebsk region) of the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel Sergey Kolontaev, and the Deputy Head of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Head of Public Security Police, Police Colonel Yuri Mankov; the medal "For Labor Merits" was awarded to the Head of the Organizational and Control Department of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, Igor Bogachev.
