Representatives of 9 countries have confirmed their participation in the XI International Economic Forum "Innovations. Investments. Prospects" in Vitebsk

As reported by the Deputy Chairperson of the Regional Executive Committee, Anzhelika Nikitina, the international composition of guests for the main business event of the Vitebsk region will be formed by representatives of two provinces of China, 10 Russian regions and Uzbekistan, as well as employees of diplomatic missions and business delegations from Iran, India, the UAE, Vietnam, Pakistan, and Turkey.

More than 100 enterprises and organizations of the region will present their latest developments and high-tech products, as well as import-substituting products at the exhibition, which will be held near the Summer Amphitheater. The total number of registered online and offline participants has exceeded 1,000 people.

A special emphasis will be placed on presenting the innovative potential of 10 educational institutions in the region in conjunction with manufacturing companies that actively interact with the education system or can become potential platforms for implementing developments created there.

The central theme of the forum is defined as the creative economy as a bet on the future. Taking this into account, the program of business communication and the content of the exhibition areas are being formed. Within the framework of the forum, thematic expositions and demonstration sites will be organized to present potential growth points of the region's economy: "Territory of Innovation in Industry," "Light Industry – Platform for Cooperation Opportunities," "Innovations in Pharmacy, Healthcare, Medicine," etc. To expand sales markets and establish new partnerships, organizers plan to hold a subcontracting exchange for industry, construction, agriculture, transport and logistics, IT sector, and education.

For the first time, it is planned to hold an official closing ceremony of the forum, during which the laureates of the traditional competitions of the Vitebsk Regional Union of Employers for the awarding of honorary titles "Best Manager of the Year," "Best Specialist of the Year," "Best Scientific Developer of the Year," as well as the competition "Best Goods of the Republic of Belarus" held by the State Committee for Standardization will be awarded. By the way, this year, 19 enterprises of the Vitebsk region became laureates of this prestigious competition, Anzhelika Nikitina emphasized.
