Slovakia's representation at "Slavianski Bazaar" should be expanded - M. Servatka

July 11, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. The participation of Slovak cultural figures in the representative international arts forum "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" needs to be expanded. This point of view was expressed to a BELTA correspondent by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to the Republic of Belarus, Marian Servatka. The ambassador is attending "Slavianski Bazaar" for the first time and is delighted with its scale. "There is an extraordinary festive atmosphere here, magnificent artists, and stage design," he added. The diplomat also noted the genre diversity of the festival and the representation of different art forms. According to Marian Servatka, he intends to initiate the participation of a larger number of Slovak artists, painters, and musicians in the next festival. "Getting acquainted with the cultures of our countries will help establish closer business contacts," the diplomat is confident. At the current "Slavianski Bazaar," Slovakia is represented by Jaroslav Parči. He is participating in the "Vitebsk-2009" pop song performers' competition. -0-
