Emergency warning and the problem of human casualties in them. The campaign "For Safety Together" has started in Belarus
- The initiative was launched by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus. Employees of law enforcement agencies will also take part in the campaign. From April 2 to April 20, the main efforts of the campaign participants will be aimed at drawing attention to the problem of people's deaths, and preventing emergencies and fires in residential buildings and structures caused by citizens' non-compliance with safety rules. In the Pervomaisky district, citizens will be informed about the consequences of leaving children unattended, as well as alcohol abuse.
In this regard, Alexander Anatolyevich recalled that according to Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus, leaving children in danger entails criminal liability with imprisonment for up to three years.
During the campaign, raids will be conducted to check the organization of fire safety in housing. Common areas (stairwells, common vestibules, etc.), attics, and basements will be inspected. State administration bodies will be provided with the necessary assistance in training citizens in fire safety measures at work and at home. Alexander Anatolyevich emphasized that law enforcement officers will place a special emphasis on strengthening law and order, especially preventive work with dysfunctional families and those who lead an antisocial lifestyle and abuse alcohol.
