Премьер-министр Роман Головченко посетил витебские предприятия «Энергокомплект» и «КБ «Дисплей»
During a working trip to Vitebsk on September 1, Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko familiarized himself with the organization of cable and wire production at Energokomplekt LLC and new developments at Display Design Bureau OJSC.

Today, Energokomplekt is a leader in cable production in Belarus, ranks 3rd in processing volumes in the CIS countries, and its products are preferred in 20 countries worldwide. As Roman Golovchenko noted, it is important that a large part of the enterprise's exports is supplied to the European Union market:

— This is a serious strategic task for Belarus, so I wanted to learn firsthand how a Belarusian manufacturer operates in the European market, what issues exist, and also to gain experience that the government can adopt.

In addition, during the meeting with the management of Energokomplekt, a number of issues related to improving the mechanisms of state support for exporters, as well as specific problem areas, were discussed, the Prime Minister explained. Their resolution will help remove barriers to the development of private initiative, so that it brings even more benefits to both the enterprise's employees and the city and the country's budget as a whole.

Energokomplekt is completing the creation of production facilities for cross-linked polyethylene cables with an easily removable semiconductor layer with a voltage of 10 to 35 kV. The project is included in the State Program for Innovative Development of the Republic of Belarus for 2016-2021. As a result, 15 jobs will be created. Reaching design capacity is planned by the end of 2021.

The enterprise has developed a development strategy for the period up to 2035, which provides for a 2.5-fold increase in production volumes. One of the strategically significant measures for the future is the innovative project "Creation of a universal cable production for laying in the ground, water, and air with a voltage of 6–35 kV and a cable with single-core sector aluminum conductors with a voltage of up to 6 kV". The annual capacity of the created production will exceed 10 thousand km of universal power cable and cable with a single-core conductor. The launch is scheduled for 2026.

At OJSC "Display Design Bureau", Roman Golovchenko assessed the latest developments in the priority areas of the enterprise's scientific and technical activities, including collective use video monitors, combat modules, and unmanned aerial vehicles.
