Prime Minister Sergei Rumas familiarized himself with the construction of a delayed coking complex at Naftan
Naftan is a major petrochemical complex that produces various types of fuels, oils, bitumens, aromatic hydrocarbons, and petrochemical products.
The Prime Minister was informed about the results of the financial and economic activities, the state of the oil product markets, and the implementation of the enterprise's investment projects. The main one is the construction of a delayed coking complex. According to General Director Alexander Demidov, the team is set to begin commissioning work at the facility on November 7. Much will depend on the coordinated work of the builders.
Sergei Rumas also familiarized himself with the AT-8 primary oil refining unit. It was launched in 2017, allowing the plant to increase oil processing volumes and obtain a wide range of raw material components to ensure the technological chain of the entire enterprise. Currently, the facility's operation has been suspended due to the situation with the supply of substandard oil. Naftan continues to operate at reduced loading volumes.
On April 26-27, the Prime Minister made a working trip to the Vitebsk region. Yesterday, in the Dokshitsky district, Sergei Rumas familiarized himself with the work of Begomlskoye OJSC, the Veterany dairy complex of Toguny OJSC, and the progress of spring field work. He also visited Polotsk-Steklotkany OJSC.
