Dmitry Shostakovich" will be presented today at the XXII International Music Festival named after I. Sollertinsky, which is being held in Vitebsk. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the regional philharmonic society. During the event, there will be a meeting with Tamara Fedotova from St. Petersburg, the widow of the famous artist Solomon Gershov. Her presentation will be dedicated to Solomon Gershov's first wife, St. Petersburg ballerina Vera Kostrovitskaya, who left memoirs about her joint work with Ivan Sollertinsky. The baton of cultural dialogues will be picked up on December 4 by the XX International Chagall Readings. The results of scientific research will be presented at the event by art historians from Belarus, Russia, and Latvia. During the readings, the St. Petersburg publishing house "Vita Nova" will be presented, which specializes in the release of collectible editions of various literary trends. For example, within the framework of the "Avant-garde on the Neva" publishing project, 35 art albums have been released, and the Vitebsk Museum of Marc Chagall has become the only holder of the complete series of books from this publishing house in Belarus.
