President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko appointed Andrey Soyko as General Director of OJSC "Naftan".

Президент Беларуси Александр Лукашенко назначил Андрея Сойко генеральным директором ОАО "Нафтан"
Until now, Andrey Soyko held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian State Concern for Oil and Chemistry.

The implementation of the investment project at "Naftan" in the shortest possible time is the most important task. Andrey Soyko stated this to journalists.

The new head explained that it is about completing the investment project for the construction of a delayed coking unit at "Naftan". Its implementation will increase the depth of oil refining to 90% with an increase in the yield of light oil products to 65%, increase the production of gasoline and diesel fuel, and also reduce the production of fuel oil. After the commissioning of the complex, "Naftan" will be able to fully meet the country's demand for diesel fuel (up to 3.4 million tons) and gasoline (up to 1 million tons).

"It is necessary to complete the construction of the delayed coking unit in the shortest possible time. The deadlines are set - it is the middle of next year," Andrey Soyko emphasized.
