The President made personnel changes in the Ministry of Internal Affairs

Президент произвел кадровые перестановки в МВД
Mikhail Vyacheslavovich Grib will head the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Department of Internal Affairs. The personnel decision of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is reported by the press service of the head of state.

The new 38-year-old leader is originally from Minsk, where before his transfer to Vitebsk he served as Deputy Head of the Minsk City Executive Committee's Department of Internal Affairs - Head of the Public Security Police.

The former head of the regional department, Ivan Vladimirovich Kubrakov, has been appointed to the capital, where he will take the position of Head of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee. It should be recalled that he headed the police of the northern region for about two years, and in this post he was awarded the Order "For Service to the Motherland" III degree.

Making personnel changes in the Ministry of Internal Affairs system, Alexander Lukashenko described the work of the Belarusian police as insufficiently effective.

– You know that the police are the foundation of all our public security and the fight against crime. If you work effectively, if you are active, there will be results, – noted the head of state. – But to be absolutely honest, I cannot give the police a score of 9 or 10 on a 10-point scale today, or even 8 with reservations.
