The President of the Republic of Belarus approved the State Investment Program for 2013

6324.4 billion rubles are allocated for its implementation. Of this amount, 6292.4 billion rubles are from the republican budget (including 400 billion rubles from the President's reserve fund and 710.5 billion rubles from the state targeted budget fund for national development).

These funds will be directed towards the construction of 303 socially significant facilities (57 of which are newly initiated), of which 108 will be commissioned (including launch complexes).

In particular, the program implementation will allow for the commissioning of a dormitory building with a canteen for the Vitebsk Cadet School, an automobile road bypassing Vitebsk on the Starinki–Novka section, and the completion of the reconstruction of the “Grigorovshchina” automobile border crossing point (PTO Bigosovo) within the current year. Among other measures, construction work will continue on the Palace of Game Sports in the Aeroport microdistrict of Polotsk and in the Spaso-Preobrazhenskaya Church in Polotsk.

In addition, the reconstruction of the "Bigosovo" railway border crossing point and the 18th-century architectural monument, the Holy Protection Convent in Tolochin, will begin this year.
