A public council has been established at the Vitebsk Regional Tax Inspectorate

A public council has been established under the regional tax inspectorate in the Vitebsk region. The corresponding document was signed today at the founding meeting of the new consultative body by Valery Lobatsevich, head of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties Inspectorate for the Vitebsk region, and Vladimir Turavinov, chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Union of Employers.

The main tasks of the public council include discussing problematic issues arising in entrepreneurial activities, ensuring effective interaction between the tax service and business associations, private businesses, and government bodies, discussing draft normative legal acts developed with the participation of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties, as well as developing proposals for improving the tax system, simplifying tax legislation, and, as a consequence, improving the business climate in the country.

As Valery Lobatsevich noted, the main goal of establishing the council is to ensure maximum transparency in resolving current issues of entrepreneurship, and to give weight to the proposals that will be developed by the consultative body. "The tax service is ready for dialogue on all aspects of its activities," said the head of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties Inspectorate. "We consider it necessary to involve as many representatives of the non-state sector of the economy as possible in the work of the council and to solve problems together so that the business community spends less time on tax administration, so that it is easier and simpler to do business."

The council includes key specialists of the regional tax inspectorate in various areas that determine the implementation of tax policy in the Vitebsk region. "With this composition, we are capable of solving all issues related to the application of tax legislation in the region," emphasized Valery Lobatsevich.

The Vitebsk Regional Union of Employers has delegated the most authoritative and active representatives of the local business community to the council. At the same time, the founders of the consultative body particularly emphasized: everyone who has encountered problematic situations and has something to offer can participate in the work of the council.

for improving the business environment. "The public council established today should become an effective platform for dialogue between the tax service and business, for developing proposals and initiatives in this area, and for resolving emerging problem situations," believes Vladimir Turavinov.

In accordance with the approved regulation, the public council may convene, taking into account the proposals of its members, no less than once every six months. At the same time, one or more members of the council can initiate a meeting of the council by sending a motivated proposal for the agenda and necessary materials for decision-making to the chairman of the council.
