Foreign guests arriving under the visa-free regime for the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" events will be able to quickly register at the territorial departments for citizenship and migration. This was announced today by the Head of the Internal Affairs Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Mikhail Grib, at a briefing dedicated to the work of law enforcement agencies during the forum.

It is expected that about 300,000 people will come to the creative forum, including from near and far abroad. The police are ready for the arrival of foreigners under the visa-free regime from July 1 to July 20, noted the Head of the Internal Affairs Department. "During the festival, employees of the territorial departments for citizenship and migration will be on duty at all district police departments of the city. Foreign citizens and groups of guests will be able to register quickly upon arrival," Mikhail Grib noted.

For all questions regarding visa-free entry, you can contact the Department for Citizenship and Migration of the Internal Affairs Department during working hours by phone at 8 (0212) 60-34-81. Starting today, the personnel of the internal affairs bodies of the Vitebsk garrison and attached forces have begun working in an enhanced duty mode. To ensure the safety of guests and residents of the city during the festival, colleagues from other regions of the country will come to the aid of local law enforcement officers. They will assist in organizing the access control regime at the Summer Amphitheater, the "Vitebsk" concert hall, and will also patrol the city center. Along with men, State Automobile Inspectorate officers will regulate traffic at the central intersections of the city.

Mikhail Grib added that for the rapid admission of spectators to the event, walkthrough scanners, which proved their effectiveness at the II European Games, will be used. This year, the number of entrances to the amphitheater bowl will be increased to speed up the spectator admission process. In addition, there will be separate entrances for mothers with young children, pregnant women, veterans, and people with disabilities.
