The suburb of Vitebsk will become an open-air theater during the "Slavianski Bazaar" festival

January 21, Polotsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. The suburbs of Vitebsk will turn into an open-air theater during the "Slavianski Bazaar" festival. The Minister of Culture of Belarus, Pavel Latushko, told a BELTA correspondent about one of the new projects of the international arts festival. Work on the preparation of the XIX International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" began on the last day of the XVIII festival. It will once again become one of the largest and main events in the cultural life of the country, the minister is confident. Great attention is paid to the festival: Belarus is the center of Slavic cultures and unites them thanks to the "Slavianski Bazaar". "The XIX festival will be given more 'festivity'," said Pavel Latushko. New projects related to theater and national cuisine are planned. For the first time, an open-air theater will operate at the "Slavianski Bazaar", and the suburbs of Vitebsk will become its stage. "As for the concerts, it's too early to name names, but stars of the European stage will definitely be there," the Minister of Culture assured. -0-
