A pleasant surprise awaits Vitebsk male drivers today, the head of the agitation and propaganda department of the traffic police of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Internal Affairs Directorate, Olesya Seregina, told a BELTA correspondent. The festive event in honor of the Defender of the Fatherland Day and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus was prepared by female traffic police officers. They will be on duty at Victory Square, but only to wish male drivers safe roads and present souvenirs. On International Women's Day, representatives of the male half of the Vitebsk region's State Automobile Inspectorate will be on duty with a similar mission. Such events contribute to the formation of law-abidingness, a sense of respect and mutual assistance among road users, and an increase in driver culture, Olesya Seregina added.-0-
