May 8, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Reconciliation agreements have been signed in 80% of cases considered by the economic court of the Vitebsk region in the conciliation procedure, the head of the judicial practice department of the regional economic court, Olga Kibisova, told a BELTA correspondent. Over the past four months of the current year, the conciliation procedure was initiated in 395 cases, and including cases from last year, it was conducted in 446 cases. Agreements on reconciliation were reached and signed between the parties in 319 cases, including two cases involving an out-of-court mediator. Agreements were not concluded in 80 cases, and 47 cases are at the conciliation stage. In addition, one reconciliation agreement was concluded in the conciliation procedure within the framework of enforcement proceedings. As Olga Kibisova explained, the conciliation procedure is the settlement of a dispute between parties in an economic court with the participation of a conciliator appointed by the court to assist them in independently resolving the dispute, establishing the factual circumstances of the conflict, clarifying, comparing and bringing their points of view closer on ways to resolve the dispute, finding a compromise that suits both parties, and reaching a reconciliation agreement. Such a dialogue with the assistance of a professional conciliator allows for a mutually beneficial agreement, saving money, time, and preserving reliable partnerships. From January to April of the current year, the number of applications received for consideration by the economic court increased by 35% and amounted to 5266 applications. In the total number of received applications, the share of applications in the order of writ proceedings was 74.4%, the share of statement of claim was 14.7%, received applications for economic insolvency was 1.2%, and in the order of administrative proceedings - 8.4%. -0-
