This opinion was expressed in a conversation with a BELTA correspondent by Nikolai Silinov, director of Vitebsk LLC "Allianceplast". The implementation of the Directive's provisions will give new impetus to the development of entrepreneurial initiative, contribute to the expansion of self-employment of the population and the emergence of new private enterprises, he is confident. The document pays great attention to the issues of interaction between state bodies and public associations of entrepreneurs and business communities. "Thus, the state has found the most effective form of dialogue with business through public associations, which will undoubtedly strengthen the business associations themselves, as well as increase their authority, including at the local level," the businessman is confident. In the regions, it is necessary to create permanent platforms for discussing all decisions and draft regulations that stimulate business development, especially when it comes to developing entrepreneurship and creating favorable conditions for it locally, he added. The provisions of Directive No. 4 indicate the continuation of the course towards liberalizing the conditions for economic activity, eliminating excessive interference of state bodies in the activities of economic entities, and abolishing unjustified administrative barriers to the development of business initiative. In this regard, it is very important that emphasis is placed on the issues of protecting property rights, improving control activities, and also declaring a transition to market pricing mechanisms that contribute to improving the quality and competitiveness of goods. Nikolai Silinov also considers the completion of the harmonization of the tax system of Belarus with those operating in European countries, the expansion of the application of international standards in accounting, and the reduction of financial reporting to be a necessary and effective step towards stimulating business activity.
