Greeting from Nikolai Sherstnev and Vladimir Terentyev to guests and participants of the XXX International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk"

We sincerely welcome and congratulate the guests and residents of the region, the organizers and participants of the XXX International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" on the opening of the forum!

The festival is dynamically developing, reflecting new facets in art and people's diplomacy. In the constellation of international events, "Slavianski Bazaar" occupies a special place, presenting a broad panorama of world cultural achievements. It gives millions of people a sincere and heartfelt celebration.

Creativity and mutual respect distinguish the festival atmosphere of Vitebsk. "Slavianski Bazaar" has always strengthened the friendship of peoples, brought souls and hearts closer. Despite the negative information influences and barriers that have formed around the forum this year, the aura of the festival, formed over many years, has become a kind of shield against the challenges of our time. Therefore, the motto "Through art – to peace and mutual understanding", laid down by the first festival, is still relevant today. Despite the imposed epidemiological and logistical restrictions, "Slavianski Bazaar" will welcome representatives from 33 countries and about 5 thousand artists.

In the jubilee year for the forum, its events promise to be among the brightest and most colorful. The festival mosaic, along with traditional competitions for adult and child vocalists, will include many cultural projects, including "Theatrical Meetings", "Puppet Quarter", a street art fest, Youth Day, interesting diverse exhibitions, fairs, sports events, and much more. For the first time, the main festival stage will turn into an ice arena, where spectators will see the exclusive program "Overture to the Festival. Fire and Ice".

May all those who have long loved "Slavianski Bazaar" or are visiting us for the first time feel its international scope, spiritual generosity, and hospitality! May the July celebration become a benchmark of genuine culture, a life-giving source of joy and inspiration!

We wish the participants and guests of the festival health, successful performances, joyful meetings, and a great mood!
