Greeting from the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee A.N. Kosinets
Dear friends!
In the year of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the German-fascist invaders, in the Year of Hospitality, following the tradition of hospitable hosts, Vitebsk region welcomes guests and participants of the XXIII
I International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk". The art forum, held on the Dvina land, confirms its status as the main cultural event of the country, the main idea of which is the unity of Slavic peoples and cultures, and has no equals in scale and content in the post-Soviet space.A bright,
memorable, spectacular festival this year brings together representatives from 30 countries. Its geography covers five continents and is constantly expanding.N
ineteen concerts will be held on the stage of the Summer Amphitheatre. Significant events will take place within the framework of the Day of Friendship and the Day of Youth. Actors of puppet theaters will demonstrate their talent on the theatrical stage for the first time.It is wonderful that young talents aged 8 to 12 from 18 countries are participating in the XII International Children's Music Competition. The festival is a kind of school where stars are born, bright names in national performing arts.
The success formula of "Slavianski Bazaar" is that every year the organizers search for and find new aspects of multifaceted Slavic art, creating a unique spiritual image of the creative forum.
I am sure that Vitebsk with its "Gorod Maystrov" and "Belaruski Podvork" will leave the best memories for the guests and residents of the festival capital.
We are looking forward to meetings with art, beloved artists, and the discovery of new names.May the atmosphere of cordiality and hospitality prevail at all festival events!
I wish the participants and guests of the international cultural forum good health, excellent mood, bright and unforgettable impressions.
We once again joyfully say: hello, festival, and have a good journey!
Sincerely,
Alexander Kosinets,
Chairman
of the Vitebsk Regional
Executive Committee
