The prize of the regional competition "Master of the Village-2017" went to a family from the Sharkovshchyna district

12 leaders of the district stages arrived in the agro-town of Ostrovno, Beshenkovichi district, to compete for the honorable title.

The regional competitions began with the "Vitayem pa-belarusku!" (Welcome in Belarusian!) presentation contest, in which the participants spoke about their family history, traditions, and hobbies. The most interesting and memorable performances were by the Zhuravlev family from the Liozno district and the Molokov family.

Nikolai and Elena Novikov from the Shumilino district sawed, chopped, and stacked firewood faster and better than others. Ivan and Diana Molokov coped with the cart in just 2 minutes and 45 seconds: the husband had to harness the horse to the cart, and the wife had to unharness it.

After reviewing the video clips about the participants' agricultural homesteads, the jury recognized the homestead of Vitaly and Tatiana Klementiev from the agro-town of Ostrovno as the best. And the most vivid presentation of their achievements was by Yuri and Galina Zhuravlev, who took third place in the overall standings. The Novikovs took second place, and the Molokovs led.

– Last year, we took second place in a similar regional competition, and this year we took our mistakes into account and achieved the highest result, – said the head of the family, Ivan. Their charming children – son Nikita, daughters Sofiyka, and the twins Nastenka and Annushka – helped their parents achieve victory. Now the Molokovs are preparing to represent our region in the republican competition "Master of the Village-2017," which will be held in Glubokoe, where it originates.
