Vitebskhlebprom has started producing handmade gingerbread cookies for New Year and Christmas
As reported by Olga Pavlyuchenko, the chief technologist of the enterprise, they will be in the shape of a Christmas tree, a mitten, a sock, and a bell. The recipe was developed by engineer-technologist Marina Bashuk, who joined Vitebskhlebprom after graduating from the Mogilev State University of Food. During the production of the trial batch, the young specialist herself kneaded and rolled out the dough, and formed the figures. Confectioners were engaged in decorating the gingerbread with sugar glaze.
The enterprise is constantly expanding its product range. For example, in the near future, it will launch new types of bread: "Charodeyniy" with walnuts, dried cranberries, and dates, and "Lnyanoy" with caraway seeds and enriched with fiber. The new products won the Grand Prix at the "Prodexpo" exhibition, held in Minsk in the autumn.
In total, Vitebskhlebprom produces about 200 types of products: bakery products, cookies, sponge cakes, cakes, pastries, rusks, bagels, gingerbread, crispbread, and crackers.
