In the region with construction exceeding normal timelines, one house is being erected in the new residential microdistrict Bilevo of the regional center, as reported by the Committee for Architecture and Construction of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

According to the plan, construction was supposed to be completed by the end of last year, but the work has been delayed. "The developer, which is the enterprise 'StroyTorgServis', began the construction of housing with its own funds as a commercial project. However, during the process, funds from co-investors were involved – the prolonged construction timelines became a problem for the future residents, and the house was included in the list of problematic facilities. Currently, the facility is under constant supervision, and coordination meetings are held weekly," explained the committee.

Comprehensive assistance, including financial aid, is being provided by the city authorities. For instance, funds will be allocated for laying engineering networks to the house, and assistance is being provided in acquiring elevators with deferred payment, etc. "Everything is being done to help resolve the issues of the developer and co-investors and to commission the 146-apartment building in September," the committee noted.

By the end of the year, Vitebsk also intends to complete the construction of the second rental house in the regional center, which was also initially planned to be commissioned last year. "We were unable to realize the plans due to a lack of funds. Currently, the city executive committee allocates money monthly for construction, obtained from the privatization of housing, and by the end of the year, the house will be commissioned," the committee emphasized.
