The problem of the new line at the Postavy Flax Mill should be solved by professionals - Leonid Anfimov

Leonid Anfimov recalled that, according to the President's instructions, all issues related to the commissioning of the enterprise's new line must be resolved before July 1. "The purpose of my visit is to see the condition of this line and the financial situation of the plant," said the Chairman of the SCC.

According to him, the department will make every effort to ensure that the equipment starts operating within the set deadlines. "I think we need to find specialists. We should not try to do ourselves what we are not good at and cannot do, especially with limited time and funding," noted Leonid Anfimov. "We need to find specialists who will provide an expert assessment of what has been done and suggest how to correct the shortcomings that prevent this line from functioning normally." Significant funds have been invested in the modernization of flax processing enterprises, noted the Chairman of the SCC. "It turned out that the Postavy plant has fallen behind the modernized enterprises. All others are working quite efficiently," he added.

The State Control Committee intends to solve the problem by controlling the effectiveness of the people responsible for commissioning the problematic line. First of all, this concerns employees of the Academy of Sciences and the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Mechanization, on whose initiative experimental equipment was installed at the plant (as part of cooperation with a Belgian company). Leonid Anfimov did not rule out that the government might get involved in solving the problem. "The government is also responsible for the successful modernization of the entire flax processing industry," added the Chairman of the SCC.

In addition to visiting the problematic enterprise, Leonid Anfimov participated in a meeting of the Postavy District Executive Committee and held a personal reception of citizens in the district center.
