Tourism unions of Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine will discuss problems in the tourism sector on September 28 in Kyiv

September 22, Tolochin /Andrei Asfura - BELTA/. A trilateral meeting of representatives of tourism unions of Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine will be held on September 28 during a tourism exhibition in Kyiv. This was announced to a BELTA correspondent by Valentin Tsehmeister, Executive Director of the Republican Union of Tourism Organizations of Belarus, who is participating in an off-site seminar dedicated to the creation of the "From the Varangians to the Greeks" route. The meeting is planned to discuss current issues in the sphere of tourism, cross-border cooperation, problematic aspects of interaction with customs and border services, as well as the specifics of promoting national tourism products. "If the problems require a solution at the state level, we plan to appeal to the governments of the three countries," the interlocutor said. He also noted that this year, holidays in Belarusian health resorts and sanatoriums are in high demand. In addition, the activity of rural tourism has sharply increased, which, although it does not have a significant impact on the export of tourism services, plays a significant role in popularizing the country's tourism opportunities. The representative of the tourism union also reported that this winter, an increase in activity is expected among foreigners who prefer Belarusian ski resorts - these are "Stayki", "Silichi", and "Logoisk". "Russians, as well as representatives of other countries, are satisfied with our prices, so we can expect a certain increase in demand," believes Valentin Tsehmeister.-0-
