The issues of fostering energy-saving culture among teenagers will be discussed at a conference in Vitebsk

Educators of the Vitebsk region will discuss the issues of fostering an energy saving culture for the first time in the format of a practical conference, which will be held on October 7 in Vitebsk with the participation of more than 80 representatives of educational institutions from all districts of the region. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Vitebsk Regional Institute for the Development of Education. The region holds one of the leading positions in the country in the development and implementation of the energy saving theme in the educational process of general education institutions. Many events on this topic are held in the region in various forms. During the conference, it is planned to summarize the experience of work and methodological support for the process of training and educating the younger generation on energy saving issues, and to outline further development paths in this direction. The participants of the event will consider the issues of integrating the energy saving theme into the content of lessons of various orientations, and organizing research activities of students. Methodological developments for conducting the elective course "Learning Economy and Thrift" will be presented to educators, and issues of fostering an energy saving culture in preschool institutions, and promoting energy saving ideas in working with the public and parents of schoolchildren will be discussed. During the conference, an exhibition of methodological materials prepared by educators of the region based on their own experience in developing the energy saving theme in the educational process will be held.
