Salespeople of consumer cooperation of the Vitebsk region will compete in professional skills today, as reported by the press service of the Vitebsk regional association of the FPB.
Dubrovno will become the venue for the competition of trade specialists. Twenty best workers among sellers of food and non-food products of consumer cooperation stores will compete for victory in the regional competition "Best in Profession". Participants will demonstrate their professional skills in product display, customer service, show knowledge of trade rules, ability to advertise products and necessary work skills. At the same time, the jury will consider not only fast and competent customer service at the checkout, but also knowledge of the assortment, design of showcases and price tags. Counter workers will also be tested on their knowledge of theory. Special testing will determine their proficiency in trade rules and consumer protection legislation.
"Today, the buyer chooses a particular retail outlet not only based on price, or a specific product. Service culture, friendliness, attentiveness, and sociability will be the main criteria for evaluating contestants," noted the regional trade union organization.
The competition was organized by the regional committee of the trade union of consumer cooperation workers and the Vitebsk regional consumer union.
