Sheep wool products of LanaTex LLC: not only useful, but also beautiful

The light industry of the Gorodok region is represented on the foreign and domestic market by the enterprise SOOO "Lanatex", which produces warm and comfortable products from sheep wool. The quality of the products is evidenced by numerous awards at Belarusian, All-Russian and international forums of light industry representatives. Today, the production facilities of "Lanatex" are located in Gorodok and Beshenkovichi. The correspondent of "Vitbichi" visited one of them.

— We started working in Gorodok four years ago, — said General Director Sergey Balabaev. — We launched a sewing workshop, which is still functioning today. In parallel, we are carrying out the reconstruction of the main fur production site, which will allow us to expand the range and improve the quality of the products. Now this site is the main one, one might say, the heart of production.

SOOO "Lanatex" produces products from natural materials. Including sheep wool of the New Zealand crossbreed and Australian merino is used. The range includes ready-made consumer goods (blankets, pillows, throws, slippers, burki, vests, warming belts, elbow pads, knee pads, and much more).

— Today, many people prefer goods made from natural materials, — continues Sergey Ivanovich, — and we are focusing precisely on such products. Natural wool prevents the appearance of harmful microbes, promoting two-way air circulation, without the accumulation of static electricity and dust. Wool products are distinguished by their lanolin content — an animal fat that has a beneficial effect on the human body, which is especially useful for people suffering from arthrosis, arthritis, rheumatism, or radiculitis. The composition of the fabric helps normalize blood pressure, reduce stress, muscle and headaches. With proper care, woolen items can last more than 10 years. Specialists take a creative approach to design development, so that the products are not only durable but also beautiful. In this regard, we plan to expand the range of goods.

The enterprise has clearly defined its development vector. In the near future, it will
