Educational institutions of the region sold products worth 80 thousand rubles at the "Autumn Round Dance" exhibition fair in Vitebsk
The sellers had barely managed to display their products when they were bombarded with questions by merchants. The subject of trade was potatoes and seasonal vegetables. As a result, by 9 a.m., some educational institutions, having sold the harvest of the "second bread" at prices lower than in stores, were already enjoying a diverse fair program with a sense of accomplishment. They watched performances by young artists, exchanged experiences with colleagues from other districts, chose souvenirs, tasted gastronomic delicacies at the farmsteads, and took original selfies.
Children and adults gladly took photos with inflatable characters, beautiful girls in autumn outfits, and people whose attire eloquently indicated that they were guests from the 19th century.
Souvenirs with караваи (traditional round bread) were especially popular for memorable photos, as there were many of them at the fair. For instance, my attention was drawn to a 2.5-kilogram beauty, made by chefs Elena Lazovskaya and Elena Golubeva from Mazolovskaya Secondary School in Vitebsk region. I must admit, I thought the craftswomen spent 6-7 hours baking this handmade bakery product. It turned out to be half that time.
In total, as reported by the main department for education of the regional executive committee, educational institutions of Vitebsk region sold products worth about 80 thousand rubles at the "Vosen'ski karagod" exhibition-sale.
