The draft program for the development of the Orsha district until 2020 will be submitted for approval to interested parties in the near future, Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov stated at a meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Ministers, which reviewed the progress of the head of state's instructions for the district's development, the press service of the Belarusian government reported.

Andrei Kobyakov said that the President instructed to take systemic measures to eliminate existing shortcomings, as well as to finalize a comprehensive plan for its development, identifying economically justified growth points, providing for the phased exit of the Orsha district by 2020 to a level above the regional average. During the Presidium meeting, two blocks of systemic issues were considered - the agro-industrial complex and machine-building enterprises subordinate to the Ministry of Industry and the State Military Industrial Committee. "Not a single problematic issue was left unattended," the press service emphasized.

Summing up the meeting, Andrei Kobyakov noted that in the near future, all interested parties will receive for approval the draft program for the development of the Orsha district until 2020 and a set of measures for its implementation. The head of government drew the attention of those present to the need to personally work on it carefully, primarily on finding reserves for increasing volumes and efficiency in the supervised areas.
