Vitebsk region projects were recognized at the finals of the republican competition '100 Ideas for Belarus'

Проекты Витебской области отмечены в финале республиканского конкурса «100 идей для Беларуси»
Vitebsk region presented 11 projects at the republican stage of the "100 Ideas for Belarus" competition in Minsk. Agro-robots, the Energy Box safe socket, motivational stands, and a voxel model for representing a 3D body, created by our young inventors, were recognized as the best.

The works are designed to help solve existing problems in many sectors of production and society. In particular, the Energy Box safe socket with expanded functionality, developed by Dmitry Vorokhobko, Andrey and Maxim Skorinkins from the "Training Center" branch of RUP "Vitebskenergo," will help prevent emergencies in healthcare facilities.

The use of agro-robots in agricultural production, invented by Vladislav Buko, a student of secondary school No. 11 in Novopolotsk, will lead to increased productivity against the backdrop of improved profitability, which will ensure a reduction in production costs. The schoolboy designed robots for planting seeds and treating plants for pests, as well as a robotic platform for transporting agricultural cargo.

– The victory is a pleasant surprise for me, – admitted Vladislav. – The fact that my project became the best in its nomination at the republican level is a great success, which I achieved with the support of my mother, Svetlana Petrovna.

The young inventor has been engaged in construction for three years, since he joined the robotics club at the Department of Radioelectronics of Polotsk State University. Today, his home "technopark" has a whole collection of mechanisms.

– Last year, he built a bridge crane for the competition, which can be used to unload ships and transfer containers to land transport, – said the winner's mother. – Then there was a warehouse loader-manipulator, various robots for robo-sumo. And for me, he built and programmed a robot vacuum cleaner!

Of course, not a hundred, but high school student Vladislav Buko has a few more interesting ideas for his native country. For example, he wants to create a robot firefighter, and is currently building an electric bicycle. Clean air, the student says, is important.

A special prize from the expert council was awarded to students of secondary school No. 12 in Vitebsk, Daria Babich and Anastasia Demeshchenko, who demonstrated interactive motivational stands on the topic of rational use of natural resources. They can be widely used in preschool, basic, and secondary educational institutions.

A prize was awarded to Vladislav Gudov, a student of gymnasium No. 4 in Vitebsk, the author of a method for representing a mathematical model of a three-dimensional object and creating a final product for its implementation.
