Public transport fares in the Vitebsk region will increase from August 12

August 11, Vitebsk /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. The fare on public transport in the Vitebsk region will increase in the coming days, the transport and communications department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee informed a BELTA correspondent.

It is planned that from August 12, the cost of one trip on urban passenger transport (bus, tram, trolleybus) on regular routes for Vitebsk residents will be Br750. The maximum permissible tariffs for urban passenger transportation on express buses weighing more than 5 thousand kg are set at Br1150, weighing no more than 5 thousand kg (minibuses) - Br1470 (route length up to 16 km) and Br1580 (route length over 16 km).

The cost of a monthly travel pass for one type of transport (bus, tram, or trolleybus) for Vitebsk residents will be Br28860, for any two types of transport - Br38560, for three types of transport (bus, tram, and trolleybus) - Br46 thousand. Fares for travel on urban public transport in district centers have also been increased.

The new tariffs are established in accordance with the decisions of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee No. 502 and No. 503 dated August 8, 2011. -0-
