The trade union competition “New Names of Belarus-2016” starts in November

Trade unions continue to search for talented and creative people.

The Republican competition "New Names of Belarus" will become an annual event. This decision was made at the VII Congress of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, which is the organizer of the creative competition. However, its format will change somewhat.

– The competition, as in the previous year, is held for trade union members – representatives of work collectives, but now without age restrictions, – explained Elena Ustinova, press secretary of the FTUB for the Vitebsk region. – In 2016, the competition will be held under the motto "Creating – to Create!". One of its main innovations is the expansion of genre content. In particular, a nomination "Fine and Decorative and Applied Arts" will appear. In the "Stage Creativity" category, each group (from 4 to 10 people) can involve only one professional with a specialized education in the field of culture. Family members of amateur artists can also participate in the performances.

The competition "New Names of Belarus-2016" is divided into four stages. In November, it will start in the country's work collectives. The district (city) round will take place in December-January, and the regional round – in February-March. The final, which will include the most talented and creative participants, will be held in April-May 2016. The names of the winners will be announced on May 1, on Labor Day.
