Trade unions of the Vitebsk region will summarize the results of their work over the past five years and elect the leadership of the Vitebsk Regional Association at the reporting and election conference, which will be held on January 16 at 11:00 AM.

"The main emphasis at the conference will be on analyzing indicators important for economic development: wage growth, protection of socio-economic rights and interests of workers, prevention of industrial injuries, and social partnership," the association noted.

The results have already been summarized and leaders have been elected in each primary trade union organization, district and city trade union associations.

The conference will be attended by the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus Mikhail Orda, the leadership of the region and the city, deputies, trade union activists of the Smolensk and Pskov regional organizations of professional unions, sectoral trade unions and primary trade union organizations of the region, social partners, representatives of veteran and youth organizations.
