The program of the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" festival is 90% complete
The program of the XXVII International Arts Festival "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" is 90% complete. This was announced at a briefing by the General Director of the "Vitebsk" Cultural Center - Festival Director Alexander Sidorenko.
"The overall festival program is 90% finalized. It includes a huge number of concerts and projects. We are still working on some of them, as it is difficult to gather such a large number of participants in one place at one time: everyone has their own plans, tour schedules, and vacations. Nevertheless, we are succeeding," stated Alexander Sidorenko. According to him, the lineup for some concerts is not yet announced: the opening and closing concerts, the Union State Day, and "Golden Hit" programs are currently being formed. "We are trying to make every song in them a hit, every name - well-known. But at the same time, we are including a certain percentage of young, promising performers," noted the festival director. He has no doubt about the success of ticket sales for these currently "unnamed" concerts: last year, for example, tickets for the "Golden Hit" concert were sold out and booked within a day. Even now, despite the fact that ticket sales only start on February 23, requests for ticket reservations for a number of concerts are already being received.
The XXVII International Arts Festival "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" will take place from July 12 to 16. According to preliminary information, additional events within its framework will be held from July 9 to July 18. Thus, at the moment, the first concert in the Summer Amphitheater is scheduled to be Nikolay Baskov's performance on July 10, and the last one will be the group "Mumiy Troll" on July 18. The festival program includes concert and entertainment programs for youth, the popular "Theater Meetings," and a "Film Program."
The street art festival "Na Semi Vetrakh" (On Seven Winds) will once again unfold on the streets and squares of Vitebsk with interactive projects by street theaters, musicians, performers, puppet theaters, and artists. The "Puppet Quarter" project will celebrate its fifth anniversary, offering performances for children and adults by puppet theaters from Belarus.
