A programmer from Rossony invented a brand for his district

A programmer from Rossony has become the author of his district's brand, the deputy chairman of the Rossony District Executive Committee, Alexander Kapsul, told a BELTA correspondent. A competition to create the trademark "Our Rossony" was held in March. During this time, the organizer, the Rossony District Executive Committee, received 25 designs from 8 people. Of all the proposed options, the jury members liked the work of Pyotr Chimkovsky, a programmer at the district post office, the most. The center of the logo, in a stylized landscape, depicts the outline of the former estate of Mr. Glasko, illuminated by the rising sun. At the bottom is the inscription "Our Rossony". The logo is designed in green and blue tones, symbolizing the abundance of forests and lakes in the district. Currently, the author, together with jury members and designers, is refining the color scheme of the future symbol of the entire Rossony District. Immediately after that, the trademark will be registered and will start working for the benefit of its region: the symbol will adorn the packaging of industrial goods, food products, souvenirs, and will become a brand mark for the agro-ecotourism services of Rossony. A unified brand will allow for more successful promotion of the region's tourism services and products in both domestic and foreign markets, increase their recognition, and also contribute to the formation of a positive image of the district, Alexander Kapsul is confident. The idea of creating a unified regional sign has also been implemented in the Braslav District. However, unlike Rossony, an open competition "Braslav Souvenir" has been announced here. Until April 15, anyone can create their original souvenir and submit it for the jury's consideration. The only condition from the organizers is that the work must be related to Braslav and contain attributes of the city or district. The winners of this competition will be announced in May at the international festival of traditional culture "Braslavskie Zarnitsy". -0-
