The entrance examination programs for higher and secondary specialized educational institutions of Belarus for 2011 have been published on the Internet

February 16, Minsk / Yulia Vanina - BELTA /. Entrance examination programs for universities and secondary vocational schools in Belarus for 2011 have been published on the websites of the Ministry of Education and the National Institute of Education. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by Yuri Gladkov, head of the general secondary education department of the Ministry of Education. According to him, the topics that will be included in the examination tests and questions are published on the Internet and are available to all applicants. The programs are intended for those entering secondary vocational schools after completing general basic education (after 9th grade), as well as for those who plan to enter secondary vocational schools or universities after completing 11th grade. The head of the department noted that the 2011 programs have some changes. "I would like to remind you that the entrance examination programs for 2010 were developed taking into account the transition of secondary schools to an 11-year period of study. In this regard, topics that were not covered in the 11th grade were excluded from them last year. Now many topics have reappeared - they are studied in schools, and therefore, they have been included in the entrance examination programs," explained Yuri Gladkov. The specification of tests for centralized testing has already been developed based on the entrance examination programs. Working groups for the development of programs included representatives from the Ministry of Education, the Republican Institute for Knowledge Control, the National Institute of Education, universities, the Academy of Postgraduate Education, and the best teachers in the country. -0-
