Passenger ships in Vitebsk will start operating at the end of April

In the river port of the regional center, preparations have begun for the season of the pleasure boats "Vitebsk" and "Severnaya Stolitsa".

As told by the head of the "Gordormost" enterprise section, Oleg Pashkevich, engine maintenance and vessel painting are currently underway. In a week, it is planned to launch them from the slipways into the water.

The boats are expected to start operating on the tourist route Victory Square – Soviet Army Park (Mazurino) around April 20-25.

We remind you that both vessels were built in Pinsk. "Vitebsk" (55 seats) began sailing on the Dvina in the autumn of 2010, and "Severnaya Stolitsa" (80 seats) – a year later. Tourists can enjoy a bar and an interesting excursion program. The boats are often rented for family celebrations and corporate recreation.
