Production, roads and housing - Igor Sergeenko held a reception of citizens in Sharkovshchina
Two investors were the first to approach the reception. They want to open a house-building plant in Sharkovshchina. A site and a building for production have already been purchased. The project is almost ready. The plant plans to employ 50-60 people. "The technology for producing frame houses, which we will use, is not yet employed in the country. This is the first stage in business development. We plan to establish an engineering center here, and the production will expand after training specialists for the enterprise," the businessmen said.
They have a ready business plan, house designs, and have explored foreign markets. The investors are asking for help with additional funding and allocation of funds from the regional executive committee's investment fund. However, the problem is that money from this source can only be obtained for purchasing equipment, while they need it for construction and installation work. The investors promise to gradually repay all loans after the production is launched. Igor Sergeenko noted that the issue would be considered with the involvement of specialists and an answer would be provided. "The topic is important. Jobs are being created, so we will help you within the framework of the law," he said.
A resident of the agro-town of Luzhki approached with a personal issue. The woman previously received a loan for housing reconstruction and now needs money again for the same purpose. However, according to the law, such a loan cannot be issued twice. "We will look into your case. Receptions exist precisely to find solutions in such non-standard situations," Igor Sergeenko remarked.
People also appealed with requests to repair roads. A resident of the village of Stolitsa, on behalf of the villagers, asked to asphalt the gravel road Grmanovichy - Premyany, 2.5 km long. The issue of repairing the road to the cemetery in the agro-town of Velikoye Selo was raised. This is a field road, impassable in bad weather. It will be put in order in the near future. In the first case, more extensive work will be required, so it is planned to start developing the necessary documentation next year.
More than ten people applied for an appointment with the Head of the Presidential Administration. They asked, among other things, for help in recovering money lent to a dishonest acquaintance and bringing him to justice, and to resolve a land dispute. Issues related to increasing the capacity of local power grids for electric heating and hot water supply in private homes, and publishing a book were raised. All issues have been taken under control.
Summarizing the meeting, Igor Sergeenko noted that the Presidential Administration continues to hold receptions for citizens. This year, representatives intend to visit all regions of Belarus. "The reception in Sharkovshchina showed that the district executive committee is taking measures to solve the pressing life problems of residents. Today's reception was diverse, covering topics of business development, street paving, loan allocation for housing repairs, and energy supply. Some issues were resolved on the spot, others will be studied further," Igor Sergeenko said.
He recalled that the head of state recently signed a decree on additional measures to address pressing issues of public life. Today's reception in Sharkovshchyna showed the timeliness of such a document, because the issues raised in people's appeals were the topics prescribed in it.
Today, Igor Sergeenko will also visit the Glubokoye Dairy and Canned Goods Plant, where he will familiarize himself with the enterprise's operations and development plans.
