The production of polymer piers has been mastered in the Vitebsk region

February 11, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Open Joint Stock Company "Inviet" (Bigosovo, Verkhnedvinsk district, Vitebsk region) has mastered the production of polymer piers, the general director of the company, Sergey Gromadko, told a BELTA correspondent. The new type of product is manufactured using rotational molding technology, which allows for the creation of durable 1x2 m blocks that can be connected to each other to create structures of various sizes. Polymer piers can be used for landscaping lake and river banks, and for creating water recreation infrastructure. As Sergey Gromadko noted, the enterprise has significantly updated its equipment over the past two years. For example, about Br5 billion was allocated for the purchase of foreign rotational molding lines for polymer products. Now, about 60% of "Inviet's" products are manufactured using modern technologies, including individual calf housing boxes. This type of product became a laureate of the quality competition "Best Goods of the Republic of Belarus" in the "Industrial Products" nomination in 2009. In 2010, the enterprise intends to install five new plastic injection molding machines. This will not only increase production volume and reduce costs, but also master new types of products - molds for their casting are already under development. OJSC "Inviet" produces traffic management devices: road divider blocks, guide posts with rectangular stands, traffic cones; products for vertical street landscaping, components for mechanical engineering, consumer goods - about 200 items in total. The enterprise has implemented and operates a STB ISO 9001 quality management system. The production volume growth rate in January of the current year at comparable prices compared to the same period last year was 120%. Production profitability in 2009 was 11%. -0-
