The prosecutor's office has identified violations of labor discipline at RUP "Vitebskavtodor"

Violations of labor discipline were revealed at RUP "Vitebskavtodor", prosecutor of the department for supervision of legislation enforcement and legality of legal acts of the Vitebsk region prosecutor's office Natalya Kolpakova told a BELTA correspondent.

Violations at the enterprise and its structural divisions in the regions of the oblast were established during an inspection of compliance with the requirements of labor legislation, labor protection legislation, Directives No. 1 "On measures to strengthen public safety and discipline" and No. 3 "Economy and thrift are the main factors of state economic security", legislation on crime prevention and property protection.

Isolated cases of violation of approved annual leave schedules were established. Often, employees' applications for the postponement of annual leave did not comply with the requirements of legislative norms regarding the indication of reasons for such postponements, and did not contain written requests for the necessity of postponement.

In addition, cases of employees not being familiarized with orders on personnel matters issued concerning them were established, including the absence of information on employees' familiarization with orders on bringing them to disciplinary responsibility.

Violations were also established when involving employees in work on weekends. In particular, information on employees' consent to perform such work was not attached to orders for involving them in work on weekends. Some orders lacked information on employees' familiarization with them.

"Compliance with the requirements of property protection legislation also caused a number of complaints," emphasized Natalya Kolpakova, noting that based on the results of the inspection, a conclusion was drawn about untimely claim and complaint work. "Vitebskavtodor" is an enterprise of state ownership, and therefore, work on recovering overdue debts should be timely, despite the fact that the procedure for conducting claim and complaint work and the deadlines for sending claim letters are not established by legislation," the prosecutor added.

Natalia Kolpakova noted that there are also individual shortcomings in the work with citizens' and legal entities' appeals. For instance, the procedure for appealing against responses to appeals has not been explained to citizens everywhere, and registration stamps have not been affixed to all appeals.

As a result of the inspections carried out, a submission on eliminating the noted violations of the law, as well as the causes and conditions contributing to them, has been sent to the enterprise's general director. District prosecutors have also taken measures of prosecutorial response.
