Industrial enterprises of Belarus have sufficient opportunities to preserve jobs in the context of the global crisis - Ministry of Industry

March 27, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Belarusian industrial enterprises have sufficient capabilities to withstand the negative phenomena caused by the global economic crisis. This was stated today at a meeting of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee by Gennady Svidersky, Deputy Minister of Industry of Belarus, BELTA correspondent reports. As the Deputy Minister emphasized, "domestic enterprises have sufficient capabilities to preserve jobs, not lose their sales markets, and win new ones." The production of competitive products is one of the ways to counteract the global crisis. A state scientific and technical program has been created to provide financial support to manufacturers in its development and implementation. Enterprises with an economically justified plan for the production and sale of a new type of product can participate in the program. A clear business plan is also necessary to obtain funds for retooling from the state innovation fund. "These are open sources for financing new projects, but obtaining them requires a responsible approach to creating new production facilities," Gennady Svidersky added. At the same time, not all enterprises use these opportunities, he stated. Enterprises of the Ministry of Industry need to more actively use the opportunity to participate in state scientific and technical programs and receive funds from the state innovation fund, Gennady Svidersky concluded. -0-
