A press conference was held on the labor market forecast for the Vitebsk region for 2019

As part of the cooperation between the Committee for Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee and the Swedish Public Employment Service, a press conference on the labor market forecast for the Vitebsk region for 2019 was held on February 20, 2019.

The forecast was developed with the support of the Swedish Public Employment Service within the framework of the project "Improving the Activities of the Employment Service of the Population of Belarus", funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).

During the press conference, T.M. Ovchinnikova, Head of the Employment Department of the Committee, presented an overview of the labor market situation in 2018, the forecast, as well as the "Employment Opportunities Barometer" for 2019.

Per Lindberg, Project Manager of the Swedish Public Employment Service, presented the main idea of the project, the importance of the forecast through the prism of Swedish experience, and its impact on the labor market and other sectors.
