The procedures for registering political parties and public associations have been simplified in Belarus
August 10, Minsk /BELTA/. Procedures related to the state registration of political parties, trade unions, other public associations, their unions (associations), republican state-public associations, and foundations have been simplified in Belarus. BELTA was informed about this by the Ministry of Justice.
The department explained that the Council of Ministers has made changes to the current legislation and simplified the procedures related to the state registration of parties, trade unions, public associations, and foundations.
The draft resolution was developed by the Ministry of Justice in order to implement a unified approach to the state registration of legal entities. In particular, previously, after state registration, representatives of the aforementioned organizations had to apply themselves for registration with the tax authorities, state statistics bodies, the Social Protection Fund of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, and the Belarusian Republican Unitary Enterprise of Insurance "Belgosstrakh".
Now, the registration authorities, i.e., the justice authorities, independently carry out the registration of the specified organizations with the mentioned bodies simultaneously with the registration of the legal entity.
This procedure is consistent with the state policy aimed at simplifying procedures related to the state registration of legal entities and creating the most favorable conditions for their activities, the Ministry of Justice noted. -0-
