Combat readiness check of the Armed Forces

Since January 21, a combat readiness check of the Armed Forces and territorial troops has been carried out on the instructions of the Head of State.

During the event, the ability of military administration bodies and commanders to control subordinate military formations, as well as the readiness of military units and formations of the Armed Forces and territorial troops to perform their intended tasks, is being checked.

The inspection of the Armed Forces is comprehensive. It covers military administration bodies at all levels, military units and formations of the branches of the Armed Forces and almost all branches of troops, as well as territorial troops. An order has been issued to bring several formations of territorial troops to higher degrees of combat readiness. In particular, the deployment of individual units of territorial troops has begun in the Miory district of the Vitebsk region.

During the inspection, reports were heard from the leadership of the district executive committee, the district military commissariat, and the formation of the district territorial defense headquarters and a separate rifle company of territorial troops, as well as other measures that were carried out when transferring to higher degrees of combat readiness.
