Vitebsk youth will start receiving vouchers for the third work semester "Summer-2012" today

The third labor semester "Summer-2012" will open today in Vitebsk, the Vitebsk regional committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union informed a BELTA correspondent. The event, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, will be held on Victory Square and will bring together representatives of secondary vocational schools, vocational schools, higher education institutions, working youth, representatives of executive authorities, veterans of the student detachment movement, and the public. Young people will take part in a solemn rally with the laying of a wreath at the Eternal Flame, after which representatives of educational institutions will report to the commanders of the city and regional headquarters of student detachments on their readiness for the new labor semester. Youth who have applied for employment at the headquarters of good deeds will be issued symbolic vouchers for "Summer-2012". The concluding chord of the event will be a labor action to strengthen the bank of the Western Dvina in the territory adjacent to Kalinin Street. In total, about 10,000 people are planned to be employed in the Vitebsk region this summer. For selection, it is offered to work in construction, agricultural, environmental, service, and pedagogical volunteer detachments. More than 3,000 young people who have applied for employment have already decided on their future place of work. -0-
