A workspace for the visually impaired was equipped at the Vitebsk Regional Library
A workstation for visually impaired and partially sighted people has been equipped for the first time at the Vitsyebsk Regional Library named after V.I. Lenin, which is currently the only one in the region's library system.
The special complex is located in the periodicals hall and includes a computer, an image magnification device, and a scanning and sound reproduction machine. This high-tech equipment will allow visually impaired people to access literature of interest. This workstation is already open for visits.
According to the director of the regional library, Alexander Semkin, a collection of audio reading discs has been formed for this reader audience, which will be constantly replenished.
