A worker at the Miory Meat Processing Plant stole over 200 kg of meat products

February 3, Vitebsk /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. A worker of the Miory Meat Processing Plant stole from his own enterprise, the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee informed a BELTA correspondent. The previous evening, law enforcement officers detained a Volkswagen Vento car in Miory driven by a 36-year-old employee of the local meat processing plant, who was transporting 214 kg of meat products. During the check, it was established that the man, a resident of Miory, had committed the theft during the day from an unlocked premises of the enterprise's slaughterhouse. A criminal case has been initiated under Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of Belarus, which provides for up to 3 years of imprisonment. An investigation is underway.-0-
