A worker at the Miory Meat Processing Plant attempted to steal 300 kg of meat products

August 12, Vitebsk /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. A worker of the Miory Meat Processing Plant attempted to steal 300 kg of meat products, the Information and Public Relations Department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee informed a BELTA correspondent.

Late at night, police officers detained a 28-year-old worker of the enterprise who was trying to take meat products out of the plant's territory. The damage caused by his actions is estimated at Br3 million.

A criminal case has been initiated against the man for theft under Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of Belarus, which provides for up to three years of imprisonment. An investigation is underway.-0-
